At Refuge, our Signature Latte is handcrafted and is best served hot or iced. Based on the traditional Italian latte style (1 part espresso, 5 parts milk), it balances our Defender Blend espresso with award-winning local Alabama honey.

We start with a classic 2oz shot of espresso. Then we add 10oz of properly steamed milk to give it a rich, velvety texture true to the Italian method.

Sweetened with Alabama’s Best Honey

We use local honey from Mo Honey, a small producer known for his award-winning flavor. In fact, his honey was named Alabama’s Best Honey in 2023 by the Alabama Beekeeper’s Association.

This natural sweetener brings a smooth, floral depth that cane sugar or a syrup just can’t match.

Finished with a Touch of Cinnamon

To round it all out, we dust the latte with a touch of cinnamon. Just enough to add a little depth of flavor to the cup without overpowering the espresso. It’s simple, balanced, and comforting.
